Macro Weld Test Training

Jenks & Cattell Macro Weld Test Training

Our Junior Quality Engineer, Jack Galloway, has completed an internal training course on 'The Preparation and Interpretation and Recording of Macro Weld Testing.' The training lasted 2 months, and was carried out by Sarah, our Welding Quality Engineer, seen here presenting Jack with his training certificate.

The training was mainly carried out in our own 'In-House Macro Weld Test Facility', which has been in situ now for several years.

Darren Mason, our Senior Quality Engineer said: “This is an important achievement not only for Jack, but also for Jenks & Cattell Engineering as a company, as we now have another fully trained assessor, for all of our welding processes."

Craig Jeavons, Technical Director said: "Congratulations ‘our’ Jack, we are all pleased to see you receiving your certificate, for completing our in house training course."

Sarah, who completed a similar course at BOC some years ago said, “Jack has been a great pupil and learnt very quickly, we both enjoyed sharing the whole trainer, trainee experience to boot.”

At Jenks & Cattell Engineering, we take our welding seriously and see this as another continuous step forward, to ensure conformance, to the rigorous standard’s we adhere to.
