Jenks & Cattell Engineering take the time and pride to invest in our employees personal and business development and we regularly provide our internal PPAP training to our team to review updates and refresh current practices and proccedures.

All of our metal pressings, laser cut fabrications and welded assembly components follow the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) during our new business introduction phase prior to serial production. Our Engineering team consisting of Craig Poppit, James Butler, James Haden, Daniel Cooper and Ryan Griffiths with the course being led by Craig Jeavons, Technical Director.

Craig said: “The training given was to give awareness and cement how individual actions contribute to the PPAP file coming together, and the importance of the submittal to our customers who expect rightly quality components within tolerance and specficiation. The feedback from all of the buys was positive and we look forward to continuing our development of teams across Jenks, with training and competency as required.”
