Press Toolmaker

Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.

25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Comprehensive Training + Potential Career Progression.

35 Hours per week Monday to Friday.

We are currently looking for an experienced metal press shop Toolmaker to join our team in the new year. It is a key position within the business to ensure that the press shop is kept running at all times.

The role:

  • Deal with routine maintenance, break downs, design changes and new projects.
  • Have day to day contact with the production and engineering team.
  • Expectation to make press adaptions and improvements to different types of tools to enable the processes to be as efficient as possible. 

 

Our presses range from 40-1000 tonnes, including progression, transfer and 6-stage line


Production Planner

Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.

25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Comprehensive Training + Potential Career Progression.

35 Hours per week Monday to Friday.

An experienced Production Planner is required as an addition to join our Production team of of 7. Experience in the automotive industry and metal presswork manufacturing is beneficial, but we will consider experienced personnel from a Production Planning/manufacturing/logistics backgrounds. 

Must have excellent communication skills to speak with colleagues and suppliers.

Planning, organising and time keeping skills are essential.  

Excellent computer skills are required, and extra training will be provided for our internal system. 

The role:

  • Responsible for a manageable amount of customers as a key production contact. 
  • Have day to day contact with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure metal components are manufactured and delivered to customer specifications and deadlines. 
  • Plan various processes to manufacture a complete metal assembly. May involve planning laser cutting, metal pressing, welding and dispatch. 


Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.

25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Comprehensive Training + Potential Career Progression.

35 Hours per week Monday to Friday.

A candidate with experience in metal presswork and the mechanism of metal press/stamping machines ranging from 100 to 1000 tonnes is required for everyday overseeing and maintenance of the machinery to ensure they are running to the highest capability and efficiency. This is currently outsourced to external companies and we are looking to do more general fixes internally.  

The role:

  • Responsible for a managing and prioritising press shop machinery maintenance and repairs. 
  • Overseeing and passing off external power press repairs, fixes and inspection.
  • Planning internal power press repairs, inspections and spares. 
  • Have day to day contact with the production and manufacturing teams.
