Jenks and Cattell Engineering have all the equipment, machinery and passionate team to ensure our customers can purchase a complete manufacturing service of metal pressed parts, stampings and laser cut parts.

We have invested over £4m since 2014 on an additional laser machine, brake press, 250 tonne press, 400 tonne press and 3 robotic welders, as well as ongoing factory improvements.

Jenks & Cattell Engineering can complete all of our manufacturing processes on the following materials:

To reduce weight of the components for product, transport, efficiency and environment – we are specialists in the forming of aluminium.

To meet customer requirements, we often research various grades of steel to identify the best material suitability for our customers product.

Currently, all of our material is procured from the UK and Europe at a very high standard – unless our customer specifies other.

Jenks & Cattell Engineering began manufacturing within the garden tool industry (more information in our timeline), and have since moved on to supply metal parts to world leading OEM’s including Caterpillar, JLR, Perkins Engines and Cummins. Our key industries are automotive and off-highway and we look to diversify our skills to various industries, and we currently operate within:

We package all of our metal parts to customer specification, from all parts in a container together, to indvidually wrapping and bagging every part to protect the metal and paint finish where applicable. All of our customers have dedicated shelving in our warehouse, and we are able to keep up to a 4 week stock for customer schedule.

Jenks & Cattell Engineering strive towards an impressive delivery performance of 100%, and we keep a continuous monitor on supplier delivery performance and on time deliveries.

We work with our logistics partners to ensure that we are able to support customer deliveries for any quantity. We regularly use road, rail, sea freight and air freight for a number of our customers to offer the best logistics to suit timing plans and production schedules.
